Emergency Care Institute

In line with its mission to mitigate human and economic losses from injuries, the National Safety Council's First Aid Institute is designed to provide the most comprehensive, widely available and cost competitive first aid training possible.

The Northeastern New York Safety & Health Council is an official training agency of the First Aid Institute. Each of our instructors has been certified by the National Safety Council and is prepared to administer first aid and/or CPR courses to companies, community groups, industries, etc.

ADULT
First Aid/CPR (6 hrs) - $50
First Aid Only (4 hrs) - $40
CPR Only (3 hrs) - $40

INFANT/CHILD
First Aid/CPR (6 hrs) - $55
First Aid Only (3 hrs) - $40
CPR Only (3 hrs) - $40

AED only (2hrs) - $30
Bloodborne Pathogens only (2hrs) - $20

Each participant receives a comprehensive reference manual featuring up-to - date and medically accurate first aid information and procedures. First Aid certification is good for 3 years; CPR certification is good for 2 years.

Classes can be conducted at times and locations convenient to you. A minimum of 10 students is required for on-site training. For more information, or to arrange for your own class, please call 518 - 438-2365.

BECOME YOUR OWN TRAINING AGENCY

Many organizations are eligible for Training Agency Status which allows them to teach courses and certify instructors. You determine course content, length, structure, testing and proficiency standards that are most appropriate for you and your students.
